Dr. Burhan Zain Fakhurji is the Founder of well-established two biotech companies iGene (diagnostic for Oncology and genetic disorders) and Xgenome (Molecular Biology and Genetics innovation industry). More than 18 years of experience in Molecular Biology with a demonstrated history of working in the medical diagnostic lab at the Ministry of Health. Skilled in outbreak project planning, and strong interpersonal skills with certification in employee mediation, team building, and innovative problem-solving.

He graduated from Medical School in 1999, he holds an MSc in Molecular and cancer cells, an MSc in anatomy and histology, a Dip in Epidemiology in action, a Dip in leadership and management, and a PhD in liver fibrosis.

Dr. Fakhurji has been working as Co-Chairman at American trade missions in KSA. In addition, he wrote a book called Guideline in Safety Regulations in the Medical Laboratory. Finally, Dr. Fakhurji got IP and patent regulations for three diagnostic kits for STD, HPV, and cervical cancer as screening methods.
