Dr. Noha A. Alotaibi is a biotechnology leader and Senior Chief of Experts at the Saudi Food and Drug Authority (SFDA). With over a decade of experience in biotechnology, healthcare, and strategy, she has played a key role in shaping national initiatives that advance Saudi Arabia’s biotechnology ecosystem under Vision 2030.

She holds a PhD in Biotechnology and Chemical Engineering from the University of Cambridge, where she specialized in bioprocessing, cryopreservation, and sustainable supply chains. Her career bridges science, policy, and innovation, with a proven track record in developing national strategies, strengthening R&D infrastructure, and advancing vaccine development for respiratory infectious diseases.

At SFDA, Dr. Alotaibi leads biotechnology risk evaluation, guiding regulators in managing emerging technologies in food and drug sectors. Previously at King Abdulaziz City for Science and Technology (KACST), she advised leadership on biotechnology priorities and established research programs that enhanced Saudi Arabia’s scientific capabilities and global partnerships.

As a mentor and lecturer in the Saudi Accelerator, she combines scientific expertise, regulatory insight, and innovation foresight to support startups. Dr. Alotaibi is dedicated to equipping entrepreneurs with the knowledge and strategies needed to overcome challenges, scale innovations, and compete successfully in the global biotechnology race.
