Dr. Tariq Tawfiq Massad is a seasoned biopharmaceutical executive with nearly two decades of leadership across global biotech and CDMO organizations. He currently serves as Vice President at Eurofins CDMO Alphora in Canada, where he leads advanced biomanufacturing initiatives and drives strategic development for complex biologics. His career spans top-tier institutions including Sanofi Pasteur, Apobiologix (Apotex), Therapure Biopharma, and IMV Inc., where he held senior roles in process development, clinical manufacturing, and CMC operations.

Dr. Massad holds a Ph.D. in Biophysics from Stockholm University and is a certified Project Management Professional (PMP). His academic foundation is complemented by a BSc and MSc in Applied Chemistry from Jordan University of Science and Technology. He has built and led high-performing teams in R&D, scale-up, and commercial operations, with expertise spanning monoclonal antibodies, vaccines, biosimilars, and next-generation platforms. His work has directly contributed to the advancement of clinical candidates and the optimization of manufacturing pipelines across North America.
