Dr. Abdullah K. Alshememry is an Associate Professor of Pharmaceutical Biotechnology and currently serves as Vice Dean at the College of Pharmacy, King Saud University. He earned his Ph.D. in Pharmaceutical Sciences from the University of Alberta, Canada, and gained international research experience as a Visiting Scientist at the National Research Council Canada (NRC–NINT). He also holds an Executive MBA from Prince Mohammed Bin Salman College of Business & Entrepreneurship.

In addition to his academic leadership, Dr. Alshememry plays a pivotal national role as Chairman of the Medical Biotechnology Committee at the Saudi Commission for Health Specialties (SCFHS) and Biotechnology Consultant at the Saudi Food and Drug Authority (SFDA), where he contributes to shaping biotechnology standards, regulatory frameworks, and workforce development in Saudi Arabia.

With a deep commitment to bridging research and real-world biotech innovation, Dr. Alshememry actively supports early-stage ventures navigating regulatory pathways and clinical validation. His mentorship blends strategic clarity, founder leadership, and ecosystem integration with practical regulatory and industry insights - making him a vital contributor to the Kingdom’s emerging biotech landscape.
