Dr. Sascha Berger is Investment Director at NEOM Biotech, where he contributes to building Saudi Arabia’s emerging life sciences ecosystem. He brings nearly 20 years of experience across life science venture capital, corporate M&A, strategy consulting, and family office advisory. Over the course of his career, he has deployed more than $100 million into biotech, medtech and healthtech ventures and contributed to several successful exits.

Prior to joining NEOM, Sascha was a General Partner at TVM Capital Life Science, a leading international venture capital fund, where he focused on early- and growth-stage investments across the U.S. and Europe. His academic background combines chemistry and finance, reflecting his long-standing interest in bridging science and business.

In addition, Sascha advises and consults global biotech companies, is active as an angel investor, and serves as a board member of the Life Science Investor Alliance. He is frequently invited to speak at major global investor and biotechnology conferences and contributes to ecosystem development by mentoring founders and scientists, for example through the global Nucleate biotech student initiative.

He is passionate about supporting founders in scaling their ventures, aligning scientific excellence with robust business models, and connecting them with international investor networks.
