Dr. Amgad Talaat Soliman is a seasoned pharmaceutical executive with over 30 years of experience driving healthcare access, partnerships, and innovation across the Middle East and Africa. He currently serves as Regional Cluster Head for Saudi Arabia at EVA Pharma, where he leads operations and strategic alliances with global companies such as Gilead and Eli Lilly.

In Saudi Arabia, Dr. Amgad is spearheading the establishment of a state-of-the-art pharmaceutical facility to advance local manufacturing and technology transfer. This flagship project – aligned with Vision 2030 – focuses on priority therapeutic areas including oncology and diabetes, and on delivering difficult-to-make dosage forms that strengthen treatment options for patients across the Kingdom and beyond.

Previously with MSD and now at EVA, Dr. Amgad has built a legacy of leadership development. Under his guidance, many talented professionals have grown into leadership roles that now span global organizations, reflecting his long-standing commitment to mentorship and capability-building.

Dr. Amgad’s expertise extends across governance leadership, commercial operations, market access, and medical affairs. He has successfully managed joint steering and development committees with multinational partners and played a pivotal role in EVA Pharma’s expansion with BeOne into Egypt and several African markets.
